Welcome to all new, returning, and potential chiropractic patients! Thank you for taking the time to discover the advantages of chiropractic care and its incredible influence on your health and wellness. Each year, more than 15 million people in North America seek chiropractic treatment for safe, natural, and effective relief from back and neck pain, headaches, joint discomfort, and various other health concerns.
Headaches
Headaches are a common health concern affecting millions of people. The impact of headaches is not just physical—it also presents a significant social and economic burden.

Most headaches are linked to just a few common sources. Headaches can stem from irritation or injury to various pain-sensitive tissues such as muscles, blood vessels, skin, nerves, or even the structures in the neck and upper back.

The most common types of headaches include:
-
Cervicogenic – originating from dysfunctions in the neck
-
Muscle Tension – caused by tightness or spasms in the neck and upper back muscles
-
Post-Traumatic – resulting from head or neck injuries like whiplash
-
Drug-Induced – from overuse of pain medications
-
Migraines
-
Cluster Headaches
Many headaches have a spinal, muscular, or lifestyle-related component, making chiropractic care a natural and effective treatment option. Chiropractors are trained to identify and treat the root causes of headaches, helping thousands of people each day find safe, drug-free, long-term relief.
Neck Pain
Neck pain is a common concern for many patients. This is largely due to the neck's complex structure—composed of delicate, pain-sensitive tissues that are easily affected by everyday stress and strain.

Common contributors to neck pain include past injuries that haven’t healed properly, poor posture, prolonged sitting, and a lack of regular spinal maintenance. These issues can lead to misalignments and muscle tension that cause ongoing discomfort.

Chiropractic care offers a highly effective, natural solution. Rather than simply masking symptoms with medication, chiropractic adjustments aim to correct the underlying causes of neck pain. Treatment is safe, gentle, and noninvasive—helping restore proper alignment, reduce tension, and promote long-term relief without side effects.
Back Pain
Low back pain is one of the most common health concerns worldwide. It can range from mild discomfort to severe, disabling pain, often interfering with daily activities and quality of life.

According to recent research, low back pain is the leading cause of disability related to workplace injuries and workers’ compensation claims.
Many people assume that back pain will simply go away on its own. However, studies have shown that most low back conditions require proper treatment and rehabilitation to fully resolve and prevent recurrence. Without appropriate care, even minor issues can develop into chronic problems over time.
The Role of Chiropractic Care
Chiropractors are uniquely qualified to treat low back pain. Unlike general medical practitioners, chiropractors receive extensive training in spinal anatomy, biomechanics, and conservative treatment methods, specifically focused on conditions affecting the spine and nervous system.

Through techniques such as spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and individualized rehabilitation programs, chiropractors address the underlying causes of pain, rather than simply masking symptoms with medication. This approach not only promotes faster healing, but also helps restore function and reduce the likelihood of future injury.
Extremeties
Chiropractic care isn’t limited to the spine—proper treatment from an experienced chiropractor can also help the body’s extremities heal correctly, restore function, and prevent future injuries.

Whether from sports, work, or daily activity, injuries to the arms and legs often involve overuse, joint dysfunction, or muscle imbalance. At Ellis Chiropractic, we focus on identifying the underlying cause of your symptoms and creating a personalized care plan to support recovery and long-term strength.
Common Conditions We Treat Include:
Sports & Activity Injuries
Overuse injuries, sprains, and muscle imbalances can all affect performance and recovery. Chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation exercises help restore balance, mobility, and strength while reducing the risk of re-injury.

Leg Pain, Weakness, Numbness, or Tingling
These symptoms may stem from nerve compression in the lower spine—often related to conditions like sciatica. Chiropractic care works to relieve pressure on the affected nerves and restore healthy communication between the spine and lower extremities.

Arm Pain, Weakness, Numbness, or Tingling
Nerve impingement in the neck or upper back can cause pain or loss of function in the arms and hands. Through spinal and extremity adjustments, chiropractors help alleviate nerve irritation and restore proper movement.

Shoulder, Hip, Knee, or Ankle Pain
Misalignment, overuse, or injury can lead to joint dysfunction and inflammation. Gentle adjustments and supportive therapies help improve joint mechanics, reduce inflammation, and promote better movement.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Caused by compression of the median nerve in the wrist, this condition often results from repetitive motions. Chiropractic care may include wrist mobilization, ergonomic recommendations, and soft tissue therapy to reduce pressure and improve nerve function.

Repetitive Strain Injuries (Tennis or Golfer’s Elbow)
These common conditions result from repetitive stress to tendons and muscles. Treatment focuses on reducing inflammation, restoring alignment, and strengthening the affected area to prevent recurrence.

Auto Accident Information
Regardless of cause, the most common observation consistent among auto accident cases is that many did not seek immediate clinical attention only to see the condition get worse.
Many past accidents that go untreated have an impact on current symptoms. Low Velocity Impact and Whiplash (LVW) is a leading cause of this symptom complex. The adage that "if nothing is hurting then nothing was injured" could not be more misleading. Present research continues to prove that these low speed accidents especially whiplash can indeed cause many problems, some of which may be life long if not corrected.
According the American Chiropractic Association, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) are one of the most common reason people seek chiropractic treatment.
Auto accident cases are accepted upon referral from an attorney or by bringing in a copy of the insurance information.
Decompression Therapy
We provide cervical and lumbar spinal decompression treatments.
This gentle, non-surgical treatment works by slowly stretching the spine, which helps improve blood flow, reduce pressure on spinal discs, and promote healing. It’s commonly used to treat conditions like herniated discs, sciatica, and general back or neck discomfort. Spinal decompression is a safe and effective option for patients looking for relief without the need for medication or surgery.
